Is Okami HD a remake?
Based on the original PlayStation 3 HD remaster from 2012, Okami HD borrows the ability to set the game to widescreen, which is definitely the best way to play the game. But what really piqued my interest was the ability to play this re-release on 4K, which is a level of visual fidelity this game always deserved.

Is Okami HD open world?
That said, Okami HD is not an open-world game. It features several hub areas that connect expansive cities, fields, and dungeons. However, there is an inherent structure to the game that prevents you from going wherever you want.

Are there any differences between Okami and Okami HD apart from the graphics? Okami is now reborn in High Definition for PS3. The graphics are obviously better, sharper and yet preserves the gist of the original game, however I can swear some of the texts have changed as well.

Ōkami HD arrived on Switch last year and it’s everything I could have wanted. Though the game’s setting and story is nothing like any Zelda game, the gameplay is wonderfully reminiscent of Ocarina Of Time. Instead of a large open world, the focus is squarely on puzzle solving.

Is Okami backwards compatible?
While I am generally against the idea of most gaming remakes and remasters, as really we should just be allowed to play the original games via backwards compatibility, Okami is one of the rare exceptions where a modern remaster is worth it.
Does Okami have a good story?
The story of Okami is fantastic as well, the game is based on Japanese mythology.
