How long do respirator cartridges last?
As a rule of thumb, replace the cartridge filter as soon as you can detect the contaminant by taste or smell. The filter should also be replaced as per the expiry date of the filter stamped by the manufacturer. Once the filter is opened, it should compulsorily be changed within 6 months even if it is not used.

What is the difference between 3M N95 8200 and 8210?
The only difference I can discern is that the strap on the 8200 is stapled and the one on the 8210 is welded. The weld being the stronger of the two. I have been using the 8210s for years and have never had a strap issue. I am sure you can’t go wrong with either of these two products.
