Why dont Blue Angels wear masks?
Less to interfere with and both teams fly at altitudes during demos that don’t require oxygen. The blue and gold setup fits the image the Navy wants to project. The AIr Force is more SOP and they prefer the modern fighter jock image. They use masks since that is what they want to do.
