What is it like to live on Eigg?
Life on Eigg, it’s fair to say, is rather different from city-living. Residents’ electricity usage is monitored, and will trip if a limit is exceeded. There is no phone signal, little in terms of Wi-Fi connections, and one café.

Can you stay on Eigg?
An organic sustainable croft based in the north of the island, Eigg Organics offers a variety of accommodation options, including a traditional Mongolian yurt, a bothy and a camping area which has been voted as one of the Top 10 Campsites in the UK by The Guardian.
Is there WIFI on Eigg?
There is no internet or 3G access at the bothy, but there is an internet cafe at the Pier, and wifi at the learning centre in the Primary School – the wifi password is in the info folder in the bothy. There is no mobile phone reception.

How do you get to the Isle of Eigg?
To get to the Isle of Eigg, you catch a ferry from Mallaig. Caledonian Macbrayne operates the Small Isles ferry service to Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna all year round. Additionally, during the summer months from late April to September you can also travel from Arisaig.
Does anyone live on Isle of Muck?
Much like we were when arriving at the Isle of Skye, except Muck is even more unbelievable. Not to mention the Isle of Muck only has a population of only 38 people.
