The price reflects the high-quality materials used and the time it takes to create a MOVA Globe. Our globes are not mass-produced, meaning each globe is put together by hand. The globes also use first-of-its-kind patent technology to rotate. There is a lot that goes into making these unique globes.
Are MOVA Globes legit?
The MOVA globes are simply awesome. My only wish is that I would prefer to have one of the larger models—the unit that was sent to me is one of the small, 4.5-inch globes. If you are a globe geek like me, or you know someone who is, I highly recommend the MOVA globes.
How does a floating globe work?
The small globe has a magnet in it and the top of the device is an electromagnet. The electromagnet is pulling up on the magnet in the globe just enough to balance the earth’s gravity pulling down on it. The two forces are equal and opposite so the globe floats in mid-air!
