How do I fix my AT modem?
Restart your gateway or modem manually
- Unplug the power cord from the back of your gateway or modem. If you have:
- Wait 20 seconds.
- Put the internal battery back in if you have one.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Wait up to 10 minutes for the gateway or modem to restart and your Broadband light to turn solid green.
Why is my ATT Wi-Fi router not working?
Power cycle (reboot) your AT gateway – Unplug the gateway from the power outlet in the wall and wait two minutes before plugging it back in. After the Power, Broadband, and Service lights on your gateway turn green, verify that your connection has been restored.
What does the service light mean on AT modem?

Why is my ATT modem blinking white?

Do AT modems go bad?
Most ATT gateways will be used (reach EOL) after 8 to 10 years. There are customers still using 3600, 3800, 3801, 3812 iNID, 510, 5031 that have reached EOL… they are only replaced when needed or customer calls in for a replacement due to an issue such as speed upgrade, wifi flaky, damaged by power surge, etc.
How do I test my ATT modem?
Test your internet speed
- Go to the computer or device you want to test. Disconnect all other devices that are on your network to avoid Wi-Fi congestion, even if they aren’t using internet.
- If testing over Wi-Fi:
- Close apps on the device you’re testing.
- Run AT internet speed test.
