Can kefir replace Sourcream?
Plain kefir: Kefir will impart acidity and tang, but it is much thinner than sour cream. If you’re baking with it and using a fairly small amount you should be able to substitute one to one without any problems.
How do you make kefir taste better?
Add honey or sugar if you would like it sweeter. To make it thicker you can also add a couple scoops vanilla or coconut ice cream, and omit the ice and applesauce (it will be sweet enough). This is a very delicious flavor combination. 1 cup kefir blended with a half a banana and a couple fresh or frozen strawberries.
